Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) for Express Entry
The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) manages Express Entry System and runs varied federal immigration programs to invite skilled workers to immigrate to Canada. The objective of these programs is to manage their population drawback, develop a skilled workforce and strengthen their economy.
Each of the programs has its eligibility criteria. The applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria of any of the three express entry programs can easily apply for the immigration process. Further, using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), a point-based system, these applicants are ranked, and on the basis of these scores, they are invited for permanent residency (Invitation To Apply(ITA)). Through this point-based system, federal authorities select the best candidates to live and work in the country.
